The Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival 2

Moutnain Biking is officially one of the coolest things on the planet! On April 5th and 6th, Santa Cruz Core attended The Santa Cruz Mountain Bike Festival in Aptos village, and we were completely blown away by the amount of talent and extreme athletic ability by these Pro Mountain Bikers.  Not only that, but we met a bunch of amatuer bikers that were extremely talented as well.

Day one starte
d off slow… people perused the rows of vendors, but there wasn’t really a lot of action. As the day progre

ssed, the rows became flooded with families, kids, and bicylces. Yep, people were riding right through the crowds of people. It was the only event that you really needed to look both ways and check your blind spot before checking out the ice cream vendor across the way… Still, nobody got hurt. The event was pure fun and pure adrenaline.

Day two was busier! The main bicycle event was on day two and the crowd was buzzing with excitement. Santa Cruz Core was on hand giving out free massages. In an event like this we had tons of people wanting massage. Lots of crashes

This was one of the most fun events of the year! People were stoked on getting some massage, learning about how massage therapy can help them, and ultimately, they were having a really great time.and other related accidents will do that to people. Ha-Ha.

There were tons of dogs too. And, lots of kids having fun and running around. The sun was shining, the vendors were having fun, and the entire event was powered by solar. Talk about unique and fun!

If you haven’t attended this event in the past, I highly recommend that you go to it in 2015. Admission is free to the public and there are lots of great things to see and enjoy.
