Santa Cruz Paddlefest 2017

Last weekend was awesome! Our Santa Cruz CORE team participated in the 31st Annual Santa Cruz Paddlefest at Steamer Lane. Paddle surfers from all around the world came to compete at the Lane and take on the famous breaks we know and love. Hundreds of people gathered and passed through last weekend to enjoy a beautiful ocean view and an epic competition that consisted of Surf Kayaks, Stand Up Paddle Boards, and Waveskis.

Our Santa Cruz CORE team had the setup for this event! We set up shop right behind the judges’ scoring table and had practitioners on site providing free service demos for competitors and pedestrians. Our service demos consisted of Free 10 Minute Massages, Sports ChiroTherapy Assessments, and Functional Movement Screens. On top of our service demos, we were selling our services with special event pricing, buy one get one t shirts, and raffle tickets for our 8th Anniversary Party coming up on May 20th.

This was a great experience for all of us and we loved getting a chance to meet people from all around. We’re truly appreciative of what the community does for us which is why we do this event every year! Here at CORE, we don’t limit ourselves to just getting better in the gym, we get better everywhere and anywhere. So get out there and be active folks!
