City of Santa Cruz Green Business Program
It is with great excitement that we announce we are Going Green! Here at CORE, we are working on applying for Santa Cruz County Green Business Certification, and have begun making improvements and changes around the business!
Luckily, we had already made great strides that are helping us with our application such as using recyclable materials, using materials made from post consumer recycled material, and using non-toxic products for cleaning and maintenance.
The CORE Green Team
The first step in our mission to go green was to implement a CORE Green Team. This would help us come up with a plan of action, evaluate what we were currently doing, and help to write guidelines so that we can stay green well in to the future.
We’ve updated all of our overhead lights
Second step: Updating the overhead lighting. This was an easy fix, and has made a huge difference. Instead of the outdated bulbs that can flicker and cause irritation and headaches, we’ve gone with high efficiency LED bulbs that are better for our clients, our employees, and the environment! Things are looking brighter!

We’re going paperless!
Thats right, we are going paperless with a new program called Dr. Chrono. This has been a long overdue and much anticipated project that has taken a lot of time and dedication by our dedicated project team leaders. Once this project is completely implemented, we’ll be able to take digital notes and have digital client files allowing us to significantly decrease our paper usage.
