Daily Check-in 4/3: Self Care at Home

Commit to A Work-From-Home Schedule

Due to social distancing, many of us are working from home for the first time. If you are feeling overwhelmed or put off by this change in routine, scheduling out a day plan is a great way to get that sense of organization back in your life! Take a minute to write down a home-work schedule. Make suitable gaps to allow for meals, self care, and personal obligations such as family, fitness or household chores. Protip: keep yourself accountable! Without your regular in-office hours to keep you on schedule, its all up to YOU to keep your life organized, focused, and in balance.

Stay Hydrated with Healthy Foods

If you have trouble drinking enough water on the daily, you are not alone! Fortunately, lots of fruits and vegetables actually contain quite a bit of water. AND they contain a host of other healthy benefits to boot! Some common foods that are good sources of both water and nutrients include cucumber, iceburg lettuce, tomatoes, broccoli, oranges, and raspberries.

Dance the Calories Away

Is social distancing causing you to miss the gym? Motivating yourself to stay fit is difficult enough without being surrounded by distractions like TV and comfy chairs. Make cardio fun by putting on your favorite tunes and make up a dance routine! Bonus: record a video of yourself and send to your friends and challenge them to a dance-off!

Need other ways to workout at home? Look no further! We stream daily fitness and meditation sessions.
