Ketamine Plus IV Infusion
Santa Cruz CORE is excited to offer Ketamine Plus IV Infusion, a revolutionary advancement in ketamine treatment that enhances the brain’s natural ability to heal. Unlike standard ketamine treatments, IV Infusion allows for highly controlled, adjustable dosage, and incorporates a proprietary blend of essential amino acids and nutrients to enhance neuroplasticity.
IV Ketamine has a slow release time of up to 1 hour, and patients typically feel a gradual, gentle effect that creates space for talk therapy or guidance throughout the treatment, if desired.
Ketamine Plus is not a one-size-fits-all treatment. Our team provides targeted dosing based on your treatment diagnosis, genetics, lab results, and consideration of any potential medication interactions. Whatever your treatment goals may be, we are dedicated to providing compassionate, effective care for mental health and addiction recovery.
Intramuscular (IM) Ketamine
Here at Santa Cruz CORE, we also offer intramuscular Ketamine as an effective and evidence-based treatment option.
Intramuscular ketamine works by injecting a controlled dosage of Ketamine into the patient’s muscle, typically a shoulder or thigh. IM Ketamine has a rapid onset, and patients may have a stronger, more immersive effect.
Troches
Troches are small, dissolvable ketamine lozenges placed under the tongue or in the cheek that slowly absorb through the mouth’s tissues rather than through an IV or injection. They offer a convenient, non-invasive option for ongoing or at-home ketamine-assisted treatment, helping support mood, reduce symptoms of conditions like depression or anxiety, and enhance therapeutic work under the guidance of a prescribing clinician.
Troches is via prescription and requires one of the following: in-person, video, or phone appointment with the physician. Call 831.425.9500 to see what works for you.
Spravato / Esketamine
Spravato is an FDA-approved esketamine nasal spray for treatment-resistant depression and major depressive disorder with active suicidal ideation. Administered in-office under medical supervision, it offers a clinically proven alternative for those who haven’t found relief through traditional antidepressants. Sessions take place in a comfortable, monitored setting at CORE, with most patients completing treatment in under two hours.
We can take insurance for Spravato! Call 831.425.9500 to see if your insurance will work with us.
